(from page 3 of the 1992 Collection) Vibrant Red Limited Edition 5.0L "Feature" 1992 Mustang LX convertible. A quantity of 2193 "Feature Cars" were made in 1992. They were all Vibrant Red which is actually a 1993 color. Only the "Feature Cars" came in Vibrant Red. Unlike other 1992 Mustangs: they had body colored side mirrors, moldings on top of the doors and rear quarter panels, and windshield trim; rear decklid spoilers, white 5-spoke wheels.

Brett shares, "This 92 Ford Mustang GT came to our stable after spending a little time being abused as it was in the hands of a 17 year old student. That was five years ago. Since then, the ol' girl has received quite a few upgrades both internally and externally. Inside, the 92 has virtually remained stock, with the exception of an aftermarket stereo system. Under the hood is a Cold Air Kit with aftermarket Short Tube Headers that exit through Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers. As for the body, the 92 has changed shoes to 5-Lug Chrome 2003 Cobras, a 4-inch Cowl Hood and LX Style Tail Lights. Our Love for Fox Bodies has grown so much that three years ago we started a foundation called 'Save A Fox Foundation' on Facebook. We currently have over 1600 members."

(from page 5 of the 1992 Collection) This is a Black and White (Cream) 1992 Mustang LX SSP Patrol Car notchback. SSP stands for Special Service Package - which is a factory optioned Police Car. The package was offered from 1982 through 1993. Some of the options included; "Million mile" certified speedometer, Unity spot light, single key lock system, relocated deck lid switch, large dome lamp, heavy duty seats, reinforced floor pan plates, Motorcraft 130amp Alternator, and external oil/water cooler. This one was used by the Florida Highway Patrol till 1995. It has been restored.

This was the final year for the original Fox-chassis after being introduced 14 years prior in 1979 (from 1994 to 2004 an updated version of the rear wheel drive Fox-4 or SN-95 chassis was used). Vibrant red was only offered in 1993 with the Cobra. Other Cobra colors was the Teal and Black. Only 5100 Cobras were offered in 1993. Although Cobra options where available previous years (76-78 Mustang II, Cobra II, and the 1978 King Cobra), this was the first year for the SVT specially designed model for the Mustang.

This car was featured in 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine in 2005 when previous owner had the car. Since then, all the billet, chrome, polished parts under the hood and dressing out have been done to the car. The Mustang has also been lowered and 17-inch wheels installed. Some of the modifications include: Pro-M 77mm mass air sensor, Walbro 255-lph fuel pump, March aluminum pulleys, Fluidyne radiator, Bassani ceramic coated shorties, Flowtech X-pipe, Borla mufflers, Dynomax 2.25-inch tailpipes, Pro M short throw shifter, Eaton Posi, FMS 3.73 gears, FMS aluminum driveshaft, FRPP steel bearing retainer, FRPP heavy duty clutch, Superior 31 spline axles, Trick Flow girdle, Strange 10-way adjustable shocks & struts, BBK fixed rate lowering springs, rear air bag, Steeda aluminum lowers & double adjustable uppers, front sway bar removed, Kenny Brown subframe connectors, and welded lower battle boxes.
