Caspian Blue Mustang GT convertible owned by Eddie Anderson from Mobile, Alabama. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 3, 2013. It is a factory GT with a 289ci 4v engine. It has a bench seat. Eddie is the third owner. The car has a bit over 26,000 miles on the clock and has had only one repaint. The Ragoon Red 1965 Mustang hardtop is Eddie's as well.

Ragoon Red 1965 Mustang hardtop owned by Eddie Anderson from Mobile, Alabama. It has its original 289ci 2v V8 engine, an automatic transmission, power brakes, air condition [original], rally pack, chrome dress kit on the engine, and dual exhaust. Eddie tells us,
"It was a junk dog in 1994. Restored completely it myself [rare factory bench seat]. Built to MCA concours standards, It has had 3 Gold, 2 Silver awards, AACA First Junior and Senior, plus 1st Place National Show Hershey Penn. I have a room full of local awards."

This is a real 1965 Mustang Shelby GT-350 fastback. The Guardsman Blue rocker stripes are standard on the 1965 Shelby. The LeMans style stripes over the top of the car were optional and was applied by the dealer Sexton Ford Sales Inc. in Moline, Illinois. The hood on a 1965 Shelby is fiberglass.

The engine is a tweaked Mustang K-code 289ci 4-barrel V8. This Shelby version put out 306 horsepower over the 271 horsepower Mustang version. Shelby engine modifications included: 715 cfm Holley carburetor, Cobra aluminum high-rise intake manifold, Cobra finned aluminum valve covers with matching oil pan, Tri-Y exhaust headers, and low-restriction mufflers. The Shelby special Vehicle Identification Number VIN is located on a aluminum plate riveted over the original Mustang VIN number. See it over the driver's side fender?
