(14 photos of a 1965 Mustang Tournament Of Thrills Promotional Sales Brochure) This is a copy of the 1965 Tournament of Thrills daredevil, stunt show featuring special ordered 1965 Mustangs. Several more 1969 models were ordered in 1968. The show was based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and toured the nation which included a regular run at the Golden Gate Speedway in Tampa, Florida and the Palm Beach Speedway. The show featured drivers from around the nation and existed since the 1950s. ABC's Wide World of Sport and DBS TV Sport Spectacular covered several of the shows.

It was tied with the 2010 Mustangs Northwest Roundup car show held the next day. I bet over 1000 Mustangs showed up.

(6 photos of a 1965 Wimbledon White Mustang Shelby GT-350 Fastback) Although technically serial number 003, this Shelby Ford Mustang GT350 was the first unit completed and was used in publicity photos for the upcoming line of customized vehicles. Serial numbers 001 and 002 were completed later and were race versions. In 1979, this car was restored as a race car and raced. It was later discovered that it was originally built as the first street GT350. It will be restored to its original condition. We photographed this amazing car at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals car show held in Bellevue, Washington; and was our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 27th, 2011.

This ad says that 15 of the unique blue and white 1965 Mustang Player's special edition hardtops will be given away weekly between June 16th and September 22nd, 1965. Player's promotions like this occurred in many Providences in Canada between 1965 and 1968.
