The 2010 Shelby GT-500 is a special edition of the 2010 Mustang that has a unique appearance and performance. It has a new front fascia that features a body colored panel between the headlamps and upper grille, which is molded as a continuation of the hood. The upper grille is smaller than the 2010 Mustang, but the lower grille is larger and has a redesigned Cobra emblem. The car also has new body side lower stripes and GT graphic, new rear fascia, new rear wing, and new rear decklid Cobra emblem.

The interior of the 2010 Shelby GT-500 is also updated with racing striped leather seats, metal dash and steering wheel trim, new instrument gauges, and white shifter knob and color matched stitching. The seats are available in black with silver stripes or red with white stripes, depending on the exterior color of the car. The metal trim adds a touch of sophistication and durability to the cabin.
