This is a Winter Blue 1969 Mustang Grande with Magnum 500 wheels, hood scoop, hood pins, hood mounted tachometer, pin stripes, black vinyl roof, and inboard highbeam headlights. We caught up with this Mustang at the Bellevue Washington Mustang Roundup show in 2011.

Cool right side view of a Gulfstream Aqua blue 1969 Mustang Mach 1. It was a little over cast this day and not all the Mustangs showed up, but this was one of my favorites. The color is really deep and almost green under these lighting conditions. Very cool car.

This is 1970 Mustang in bright Grabber Blue with the Mustang Grabber option. It's also known as the Grabber Edition. The Mustang Grabbers were Sportsroofs with these special 'C' Side Stripes (similar to the 1969 Boss 302 but with out the lettering), the 302 2V (F-code) engine, colored side mirrors, and a blacked out taillight panel. Blue was a popular color in 1970. There were no less than five different blue paints available on the Mustang in 1970. The Mustang Grabber package came with 14-inch wheels with "Dog Dish" style hubcaps. These were changed to aftermarket wheels on this Grabber Mustang.

Grabber Blue 1970 Mustang hardtop owned by Frank Norman from Cleveland, Texas. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting August 22, 2010. This car came from the factory in Grabber Blue. It has a 351ci V8 and an automatic transmission. Frank tells us more, "I have had it since my senior year of High School in 1992. It has come down a long road. It had an '89 302 when I bought it, but it didn't last. I found a '72 Torino with the Cobra Jet Cleveland and C6. It has been warmed .030 over, Weiand intake, Holly 750, Isky valvtrain, Crane rollers, etc, Mach 1 seats, custom console, Grant steering wheel, etc."

Frank sends us some updated photos of his Grabber Blue 1970 Mustang sportsroof sporting new Magnum 500 wheel. Frank adds, "...It has been warmed .030 over forged pistons, Weiand intake, Holly 750, Isky valvetrain, Crane rollers, Sanderson shorty headers, Canton windage tray, MSD ignition, Magnaflow exhaust, Steeroids rack and pinion, underride traction bars, 1 1/8 Front sway bar, Mid eye rear leaf springs, 4 wheel disc, 17 inch Magnum 500's, rear bumper tuck, custom interior lighting, Mach 1 seats, Retrosound audio, custom speaker pods, custom console, Grant steering wheel, Autometer gauges..." to name a few.

The data tag on this car reads 63C for the Mach 1 sportsroof body style, 6 Medium Bright Blue Metallic paint (Ford #3077-A), 3B Medium Blue Clarion Knit/Corinthian vinyl bucket seats, 9 3.25:1 axle ratio, 5 4-speed wide ratio manual transmission, and 71 ordered in Los Angeles area.
