(5 photos of a 1985 Silver Mustang GT Hatchback) This Silver 1985 Mustang GT hatchback is owned by Mitch Gawlik of Illinois and is our Attitude Of The Week for April 19th, 2009. Mitch says The car is pictured thru the years with the stock ten holes, then Center Line Convo-Pros, and finally, Weld Drag Lites. Mods include an Edelbrock Preformer intake, 1.7 roller rockers, SVO (back when FRPP was SVO), ceramic coated shortie headers with a '93 cat H-pipe, and Walker Dyna Max 2.5' exhaust system. There's an 8.8 rear with 3:73's and BBK upper & lower control arms. The frame is tied with Anderson Ford boxed sub-frame connectors. The car also has a Hurst Competition Plus shifter, SVO aluminum driveshaft, SVO 140 mph speedo (try to find one of those these days), and under drive pulleys. I love when people ask who painted the car and I can say 'Ford did. It's original paint & interior, with 23,400 miles on the clock'.

(7 photos of a 1990 Deep Emerald Green Saleen Anniversary Mustang Convertible) Here is an unusual one. It's a Deep Emerald Green 1990 Mustang Saleen 7-Up limited edition convertible. Saleen factor serial number 141. Only 12 Deep Emerald Green 7-Up Mustangs were converted to Saleens. The Cobra R hood and black convertible top were added by an owner. Deep Emerald Green was exclusive to these limited edition cars. They were also known as 25th Mustang Anniversary models. These cars actually started life at the ford factory as coupes even though their model code is still P44 for Mustang LX convertible.

I offered $800 and got my favorite color of Mustang. As for mods; bored out throttle, cold air intake, and shorty headers into an H-pipe with dual VTx4's that lead to 3 onch downturned pipes."

This was our featured Attitude Of The Week picture for the week of March 9th, 2008. A quantity of 2000 of the 1996 Mustang Cobras were painted with this special "Mystic" paint which changed colors depending on the light: from purple to green to copper in a bright light. This Mystic color was a $815 option and a bodyshop could purchase the paint for $1000 a gallon (1.5 gallons to paint a Cobra, it was a one coat application).
