You can only get gold over the top stripes in the Hertz version of the Shelby GT. In 1966, 1001 GT350-H, black and gold fastbacks, Shelby Mustangs where built for the Hertz rental car company; then in 2006 the only Shelby Mustangs built were 500, GT-H coupes in black and gold; and finally in 2007, 500 GT-H convertibles were built. All of these cars were rent-able at Hertz for a short period of time before being auctioned off at huge prices.

It was reserved for the 302 Parnelli Jones Saleen model in 2007. This Saleen was on display at the 29th Annual Central Illinois Ford Day Show and Swap in at Bob Dennison Ford in Bloomington, Illinois.
