(10 photos of a 1969 Groovy Green Mustang Limited Edition 600 Fastback) This is a Groovy Green 1969 Limited Edition 600 Mustang fastback. All numbers match on this one and it has Magnum 500 wheels, automatic transmission, and the F-code 302ci V8 engine. The 1969 Mustang Limited Edition 600 was a special spring 1969, promotion in the Philadelphia area. 508 cars were produced for this promotion which was 92 cars short of the 600 planned. The cars were available in either Flower Power Red (Ford special paint code WT5185) or Groovy Green (MX8241928). They came in both hardtop and fastback body styles, hood scoops, pin stripes, and many of the hardtops came with a black vinyl top. Each of the cars received a special Limited Edition 600 decal, which is located under the Mustang emblems on the front fenders.

As with all 600s this one has the standard 200ci 6-cylinder engine. It was originally bought in on June 19th, 1969 from Owen Ford in Vineland New Jersey for $2802. It was stock number M336. This Mustang still looks new! Only 508 Limited Edition 600s were produced. They only came in Flower Power Red or Groovy Green.

This is a newspaper advertisement we found for the 1969 Limited Edition 600 Mustang which came as a specially equipped sportsroof in Groovy Green or Flower Power red. The sale was limited to the Pennsylvania area. Five participating dealerships in the Pennsylvania area are listed: Countryside Motors of Springfield PA, Murphy Ford of Chester PA, Myers Motors of Linwood PA, Walsh Ford of Media PA, and Robin Ford of Glenolden PA. This ad was in the May 22nd, 1969 edition of the Delaware County Daily Times of Chester, Pennsylvania. In a similar ad in the May 22nd 1969 edition of the Lebanon Daily News of Lebanon, Pennsylvania: Keller Brothers Motors and R &J Motors both of Lebanon PA are listed.
