(3 photos of a 1992 Vibrant Red Mustang Feature Convertible) Vibrant Red 1992 Mustang LX convertible owned by Richard Winters from Sun Valley, Nevada. This is a limited edition "Feature" car or "Summer Special. These cars had the exclusive Vibrant Red paint with special body colored mirrors, colored door top moldings, colored rear quarter panel moldings,and windshield trim. They also had rear decklid spoilers and special white 5-spoke wheels. It has a 5.0L engine and an automatic transmission. Richard tells us more, "My Brother got it factory made in 1992. He was a big wig at Sun Kiss and they gave him a personal vehicle so his Mustang was mostly parked in his garage. He moved to Las Vegas and had a stroke so I went and picked it up brought it back to my home. It has less then 68,000 miles on it. It is in excellent condition and gets great gas mileage. The only problem with it is the driver's door handle like most 92 Mustangs."

They were all Vibrant Red which is actually a 1993 color. Only the "Feature Cars" came in Vibrant Red. Unlike other 1992 Mustangs: they had body colored side mirrors, moldings on top of the doors and rear quarter panels, and windshield trim; rear decklid spoilers, white 5-spoke wheels.

There where 2193 Special Limited Edition "Feature" LX 5.0L convertibles produced in mid 1992.

About 1500 were produced in 1993 with this special yellow paint. Other features include: chrome 16x7 Pony wheels; embroidered Pony headrests; embroidered yellow pony floor mats; stock spoiler; and color-match painted mirrors, hood vent, and body moldings. The yellow ones came with both black and white interiors and tops. Another 1500 "Special Feature" mustangs were produced in Vibrant white.

The white exterior color, white convertible top and white interior combination was sometimes called triple white. "Feature" cars also came in yellow. The white wheels are standard with the "Feature" edition.

This one is Canary Yellow and came with the 5.0L V8 engine, rear decklid spoilers, 16 inch 5 spoke wheels, and black leather interior with a pony embroidered headrest. 1500 of these Feature cars also came in Vibrant White. This is a Ford promotional photo which we also have in a 3072 X 2048 pixel wallpaper size.

(9 photos of a 2000 Zinc Yellow Mustang GT Spring Feature Convertible) Zinc Yellow 2000 Mustang GT Spring Feature Edition convertible with a 260 hp (at 5250 rpm), 281 cubic inch, 4.6 liter, electronic fuel injected, single overhead cam, V8 engine. Zinc Yellow was only available in the spring of 2000 in the form of a special GT package for an additional $995. Besides the special paint, this package added a different hood, different side scoops, special 17x8 inch five spoke wheels, black side stripes, and black rear embossed bumper Mustang lettering.

This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for March, 29, 2009. Karen tells us, "It was bought brand new in October of 2000. The salesman informed me the car was one of four like it in the Mid-Atlantic region. It has no mods other than an aftermarket head unit. It is the 5th Mustang I have owned since I was 16, when I bought my 76 Mustang II GHIA. In the midst of all these Mustangs I have also owned four Thunderbirds SC and LXs. I love the Fords!" Special 17x8 inch wheels, hood scoop, and side scoops are part of the Spring Edition package.

John says, With its Bright Clearcoat Zinc Yellow paint, dark charcoal leather interior, black convertible roof, GT Spring Feature Edition factory markings & throaty exhaust sound, this 2000 Mustang GT convertible is a head turner wherever it's driven. A 4.6L V8 EFI is complimented with a 5 speed manual transmission. There is a Mach 460 AM/FM stereo/CD/cassette sound system with integrated digital clock to entertain you in the articulated sport bucket seats & full leather interior. The Mach 460 Sound System has 460 watts of peak power, parametrically equalized amplifier, two subwoofer amplifiers, four 5.5x7.5 inch subwoofer speakers and four mid range tweeters. Power surrounds this GT (door locks, windows, driver's seat, mirrors, convertible top, decklid & rack & pinion steering). This car was for sale by John on the old 2000MustangGT.com.

I purchased the GT new new in April 2000. At the time it was one of only four such Mustangs east of the Mississippi. It has the Spring Package edition, 4.6L V8 engine, 5-speed manual, and all the options. Less than 1000 built. 9.9/10 in and out. Never driven in snow or salt. It's been stored winters for the last ten years. Entered in one Mustang show, which it won. A babied all original beauty.

The Spring Feature had two black hood stripes with GT lettering cut into them, black Mustang bumper decal inserts, 35th Anniversary hood & side scoops, and big 17-inch diameter by 8-inch wide 5-spoke wheels. They where only available in Performance Red, Black, Silver, Crystal White, and Zinc Yellow. 3091 Spring Editions were built.
