(8 photos of a 1967 Dusk Rose Pink Mustang Hardtop) Dusk Rose pink 1967 Mustang hardtop photographed at the 2011 Mustang Roundup car show held in Bellevue, Washington. This Mustang has the deluxe wheel covers with spinners.

(4 photos of a 1967 White Over Gold Mustang Limited Edition 400 Hardtop) Could this be one of the Chicagoland 1967 Limited Edition 400 Mustangs? A viewer sent us this photo set of his Mustang with a non-standard gold paint under the later added white. It also has rear panel holes where a badge might have been. A Marti report might confirm more since the door data tag is missing due to a door replacement.

(7 photos of a 1967 Mustang Centennial Special Hardtop Advertisement) This is one of two advertisements we found for the Nebraska Centennial Special Hardtop Sports Sprint edition 1967 Mustang which included one of four "Special Centennial colors", 6-cylinder engine, white sidewall tires, full wheel covers, functional louvered hood, rocker panel moldings, chrome air cleaner, decal and vinyl covered shift lever (for automatic transmissions), and optional luggage rack. The four "Special Centennial colors" are named Centennial Blue, Lincoln Green, Summer Wheat, and Big Red. The advertisement shown has parts of a full page by O'Shea-Rogers Motor Co in the March 26th 1967 edition of the Lincoln Star Sun. See the third image for the complete ad. We have not found one of these Mustang's yet but would expect them to have a 6 digit DSO code staring with a 54 for the Omaha Nebraska ordering district and a blank paint code.

(4 photos of a 1967 Wimbledon White Mustang Shelby GT-500 Super Snake Fastback) This is a one-off Wimbledon White 1967 Mustang Shelby GT-500 Super Snake prototype car. It was built by Shelby with the intentions of building more. But... it would be too expensive (2x that of the normal Shelby, and more than the 427 Cobra) for the public to purchase, so they only built one. This Shelby was placed on eBay back in 2008 for $3M, but did not sell. It did, however, sell in 2013 for $1.3M at a Mecum auction. (Photos are from Mecum). Why was it built? Many reasons. The GT500 was outselling the GT350 and Goodyear wanted a high speed event to advertise its new Thunderbolt tires. The engine was a 600hp 427ci from the GT40. The fog lights have special chrome surrounds and the blue LeMans stripes are unique.

(2 photos of a 1967 Candy Apple Red Mustang Shelby GT-500 Hardtop) This is a rare one. It's a 1967 Mustang Shelby GT-500 hardtop! It was the first and only one built by Shelby - called "Little Red". Although more 1967 hardtops where built by Shelby, it was the inspiration for the 1968 California Special. This GT-500 had twin Paxton Superchargers on a 428ci engine. It is reported to have been crushed as most prototypes were.

(1 photos of a 1967 Candy Apple Red Mustang Shelby GT-500 Convertible) Here is a super rare Mustang. Only one built! It's a Candyapple Red 1967 Shelby GT-500 convertible. It's owned by Samantha and Brian Styles from Delray Beach, Florida. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 1, 2015. It has a 428ci V8 "Interceptor" engine and an automatic transmission. Shelby had intended to offer the GT350 and GT500 in all three body styles - six in all. Brian adds, "We just gained access to the Ford Special Orders (DSOs) and they confirm that Shelby American even went so far as to create "package" codes for each type of car. The convertible was package code "413C", meaning a GT500, Auto, AC, Smog, Convertible Body. Carroll claimed the convertible as his own personal car. About 4 months later, the car was needed for a new task. It was used to bolt on the A.O. Smith built '68 styled fiberglass designed by Ford. It was essentially disguised as a '68 for the purpose of taking photos -- a lot of photos. A couple Shelby employees referred to the car in the stage as a "68 styling proto," though there was actually nothing prototype about it. Nothing more than a model putting on a new dress for her walk down the runway." Check out the www.1967shelbyconvertible.com website for more information.
