Check out this Smoke 1988 Mustang GT hatchback with T-tops! It is owned by Alan King from Carrollton, Georgia. Under the hood is a 302ci V8 engine. Alan had this to share,
"I bought this car in June of 1989. It was in the Ford fleet. It carries the DSO 89 on the door tag. It now has 67,000 miles on it and still in great shape. Has pretty much been parked since 1993. I have never seen another 88 T-top with the 1K (Smoke) color."

Regatta Blue 1988 Mustang GT convertible owned by Jim Cameron from Whitby, Ontario, Canada. This is our featured
Attitude Of The Week for the week starting November 27, 2011. This GT has two-tone paint; Regatta Blue over silver. The engine is a 5.0L V8 and it has a manual transmission. Jim says,
"It has been in the family since new. Originally was my cousin's car which he sold to me as his family grew."

Regatta Blue 1988 Mustang Saleen convertible was originally owned by Mark Seefried from Highland Village, Texas. It has a 302ci V8 and a manual transmission. Mark had this to share,
"This is the only Regatta Medium Blue Metallic Blue Saleen Mustang convertible made. The number is 706 and is in the Saleen Registry. We special ordered the Mustang in June 88 through Damerow Ford in Beaverton Oregon and I picked her up at Saleen Autosports in Anaheim Hills that September 88. We were told it was the last car off the Saleen line at the time and were pretty upset when we found out otherwise, but that is another story."

A site visitor sends us this photo of a 1988 Mustang 5.0L LX convertible in Dark Brown exterior paint. Somehow we missed this color in our list of available colors for the 1988 Mustang, although we do see it in the sales brochure for 1988. It is a nice color and probably an upgraded interior.

This is a 1988 Mustang GT originally modified by Don Hiller and Gene Fercodini of U.S. Mustang for Ford Mustang's 25th anniversary. To get one of these cars you had to buy a non-metallic, non-two-tone painted Mustang GT from Lombard Ford of Winstead Connecticut and then ask for the optional $3,495 U.S. Mustang Trim & Performance package. This package included the gold over-the-top stripes, gold body side molding trim inserts, custom gold anodized wheels, U.S. Mustang front fender emblems, four wheel disc brakes, 3.73:1 traction-loc rear axle (standard offerings were 2.73:1 and 3.08:1), 5 speed transmission, and the SVO 140 mph speedometer.

This Dark Gray Metallic 1988 Saleen Mustang hatchback was at the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show in Bellevue, Washington.
Many Saleens and Steve Saleen was at the show which was held one day after the 2010 MCA Grand Nations in the same place.

This is a Sterling Silver 1988 ASC McLaren modified Mustang. Originally a coupe, ASC McLaren converts them into 2-seat convertibles with aerodynamic body panels, custom wheels, custom leather interior, tinted rear lights, and an emblem-less front grille.

This Oxford White Mustang Saleen convertible was in the Saleen section of the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show held in Bellevue, Washington. I tried to take good shots of all the early model Saleens at the show. Steve Saleen was there also, signing autographs.
