(from page 2 of the 1989 Collection) This is suppose to be a 1989 Saleen SSC engine. The Saleen factory SSC engines only came in the hatchbacks. This could have been converted afterwards. The SSC engine has 292hp (at 5200rpm). Saleen standard modifications included a 65mm throttle body, new intake plenum, larger cylinder head ports, wider rocker arm ratios, HD cooling system stainless tubular headers, and Walker Dynomax mufflers.
