(3 photos of a 1993 Silver Mustang Hatchback) Silver 1993 Mustang LX 5.0L hatchback owned by Tina and Ray from Charlotte, North Carolina. Ray comments,
"Only 344 Silver (color code YN) 5.0 LX hatchbacks were built, so it's fairly rare. I've had people ask me what the original color of my car was before I had it painted silver. It has every factory available option, with the exception of automatic (and who would want a 5.0 LX with an auto?) Options include: gray leather, sunroof, CD player, power seat, rear defrost, P/W, P/L, cruise, etc. The odometer reads 03980.1 miles. When I bought it I couldn't afford both the payment and the insurance since I was 20 years old. I parked it covered up in my Dad's garage for the winter. I drove it to Charlotte for the 30th in the Spring of '94. I drove it a little that summer and parked it again."

"I bought it new in 1997 with 30K miles in mint/unmolested condition. Currently the car has a 331ci Blown/Balanced/Blueprinted/Aftercooled engine [more description on engine photo] It has; BBK 1 3/4 long tubes and off-road H pipe with Flowmaster Super 40s. Also has a stainless/electric exhaust cut-outs. 5 speed T5 with Pro 5.O shifter with TKO 600 coming in Jan 2012. DFX clutch and Fidanza aluminum flywheel. Aluminum driveshaft and loop. Motorsport HD Traction-Lok differential with 31 spline axles. 3:73s. Brakes replaced to stock specs except for front cross drilled rotors. Lakewood drag struts/shocks and upper/lower control arms. Welded sub-frame connectors and 6 point cage with swing out arms. Hatch mounted battery. Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump with 12 gal sump tank. Pony rims with Mickey Thompson DRs [ rear ] and Dunlop ZR rated [ front ]. 500rwhp/480rwtq with a very mild dyno tune, longevity a priority. 11.6et/124mph. My intentions from the beginning were to maintain a SLEEPER look and the exterior is virtually stock minus the fuel/oil pressure gauge built in to the cowl. The 11.6et/124mph was a one time run and with more time and a better 60ft time, 10.90's are realistic."

(4 photos of a 1993 Vibrant White Mustang Hatchback) Vibrant White 1993 Mustang hatchback owned by Tyler A from Hudson County, New Jersey. It has the 302ci V8 engine and a manual transmission. Tyler tells us,
"I had been searching for an un-modified, well-maintained, 5.0 fox body Mustang for years throughout my college years. As college ended and I had no luck finding one that was not chopped up, I began to give up
hope. I knew what I wanted; a fox body that was true to the time period, and there were hard to come by in my area. While I continued to love cars, I also continued to search more aggressively years later. I put the word out about what I was looking for and a family friend gave me a call, saying that he knew where one was for sale that represented exactly what I was looking for. I went and saw the car and bought it on the spot. The car was in mint condition, with 16,000 original miles, still with ORIGINAL PAINT, factory plastic under the floormats, and everything else ALL ORIGINAL! I have babied the car since, won some awards, and stored it meticulously, only driving it to car shows and cruising around the neighborhood to keep the mileage low. Recently, at a car show in my area, a man approached me and said he swore he knew the car. He alleged that he spent a lot of time around it and told me to wait for a minute. He came back with the original owner who first purchased the car in 1993! It was absolutely incredible. The car has been a dream, it has brought along some great stories, some awards, and a lot of fond memories. It was certainly a happy ending for me and she still sits all original to this day!"
