"Originally sold by Summit City Ford, Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was exported 18 months later by the owner to England. It subsequently had several more owners before I acquired it in March 2006. The car is factory original and I intend to keep it that way. I have had the paintwork detailed and the alloys refurbished. I am a member of the Mustang Owners Club UK and attend as many shows and meets as I can with the car."

So, what is different on a Cobra R? How about the huge 5.8L (351 cubic inch) V8 under the hood! This engine is so big that the standard hood did not work. A special taller fiberglass hood was created. This baby was built for racing. It has a factory 20-gallon fuel cell, a engine oil cooler, and a power steering cooler. All Cobra R Mustangs were painted Crystal White with tan colored interiors.
