Silver Smoke Gray 1965 Mustang convertible owned by Rob Eckenrode from Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week photo for the week starting November 1, 2009. Rob shares, "This vehicle was ordered by my wife's grandmother specifically to match the school color where they lived. It has the original dealer installed factory AC. It has recently been restored to original condition and won best of show in its first show this month. I have yet to find another 65 with this color combination and was told it is rare, but since Marty reports don's go back to 65 I do not know how many were made."

- What a beautiful car you have! I have a 64 that is heading to the shop this winter. It will be the same color combo as yours. Currently it has a non-original black interior and silver grey exterior. The original colors are rinkle red interior with silver smoke exterior./li>

- Easy to say it is a beautiful car since I own one taht is also Silversmoke Gray. We are the second owners and bought it in 1973. Ours is a six with a white interior with black carpet. In my estimation the Silversmoke Gray has a bit of a classy look. A friend back in PA just bought a 65 with this paint color and it was originally a Colorado car that was sent to PA just recently. I have seen quite a few other Silversmoke Gray cars out here in Colorado and in Arizona growing up and even recently (where our 65 was bought originally). Enjoy your family heirloom!/li>
