- This is my Mustang in which I bought in 1979 in Boise, Id. It was a real mess, with a little rust in the front lower fender wells, faided paint, bad tires. When I went to get the car the gal I purchased it from kids were on top of the roof sliding down the rear window and hood. I saw the badges on the fender and wondered what they were about. The gal I got it from thought she knew what it was about but really didn't know the facts about it at all as she called it a straight line special or something like that. I was excited about it though because I had purchased a 65 Mustang coupe in 1970 when I was in the service and had loved it, but sadly sold it a few years after getting out of the Army. I went for about 7 years and got the itch to have another Mustang and loved the fastback style, so I went searching for another one. This car was not for sale so I had to pay her a premium price for it I thought at the time as it was in very poor condition. I am very glad I bought it though as the years have gone by and finding out what a true fined it was. Tim Ethridge/li>
