This is 1970 Mustang in bright Grabber Blue with the Mustang Grabber option. It's also known as the Grabber Edition. The Mustang Grabbers were Sportsroofs with these special 'C' Side Stripes (similar to the 1969 Boss 302 but with out the lettering), the 302 2V (F-code) engine, colored side mirrors, and a blacked out taillight panel. Blue was a popular color in 1970. There were no less than five different blue paints available on the Mustang in 1970. Click here to check out samples and links to other 1970 Mustangs painted those colors with the help of our Data Explorer.

The Mustang Grabber package came with 14-inch wheels with "Dog Dish" style hubcaps. These were changed to aftermarket wheels on this Grabber Mustang.

Competition Yellow 1970 Mustang Boss 302 fastback owned by Jon Jackson from Illinois. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for March 16th, 2008. Jon's Boss has Magnum 500 wheels, Boss stripes, a shaker hood scoop, rear window louvers, and front and rear spoilers. That's Jon inside.

The shaker hood scoop is attached to the air cleaner, not the hood. It shakes as the engine is revved - that's how it gets it's name.
Under the hood of a Boss 302 is a 302 cubic inch 290hp V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor. This one is in excellent shape.

Wimbledon White 1970 Mach-1 Mustang fastback owned by Bill Hamilton from Charleston, South Carolina. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week photo for the week starting October 18, 2009. Bill tells us, "This is my third 1970 Mustang. My first new car was a 1970 Grabber Sportsroof Package Mustang in 1970. I owned that car for 22 years. I also owned a 1970 Mustang convertible for a few years in the mid-70s with the 428 SCJ package with Factory Drag Pack and 4:30 gears. My present 1970 Mach 1 has been with me since 2004. It has been retro-modded with a modern 5-speed and Mustang II rack and pinion steering. It has headers, Edelbrock intake manifold, and a 670 CFM Holley Street Avenger carb. It has a 1.125" front sway bar and 0.875" rear bar plus Bilstein gas shocks. It's been dynoed at 250 rwhp and has gotten 25+ mpg on the highway with the stock 3.00 rear gears."
