Mystic 1996 Mustang Cobra owned by Jessie Thomas from Baselton, Georgia. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week starting April, 24, 2016. This Cobra has the 4.6L V8 engine and a manual transmission. The color shifting paint changes from a purple to green and even to a copper in the sunlight. Jessie tells us about some of his changes, "Mild built with normal exhaust and CAI upgrades. Cobra R hood and special edition Saleen wing all painted to match. 18" chrome Saleen wheels."
Jessie's 1996 Mystic Cobra has a Cobra R hood and Saleen spoiler & wheels.

Black 1966 Mustang SVT Cobra convertible with a black top and black gut. Modifications include a billet grille, chrome Cobra wheels, and a Saleen style roll bar with 3rd brake light. Factory items include; the 4.6L DOHC EFI V8 305hp engine, 5-speed manual transmission, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, AM/FM stereo DC sound system, power seat, and a full power top with a glass back window.

Out back we have a spoiler and dual exhaust tips. Those are some wide wheels.
The engine is a 4.6L DOHC EFI V8. It was rated at 305 horsepower.
The interior is black. Checkout the Saleen style sports bar. It's a head splitter for getting into the backseat.
Nice looking black leather seats. Tall backs - lots of padding.
It has white gauges, a clock at the top center of the dash, and a 5-speed manual transmission.

Bright Tangerine 1996 Mustang Saleen S-281 coupe with bright chrome Saleen wheels. Check out that SR wing on the back. This is Saleen factory ID #25. Only six Saleens in 1996 where orange!
The fender says, RACECRAFT suspension. It has S291 Supercharged on the hood. The supercharger (installed by the dealer) was removed.
The interior is black. The seats have gray inserts.
Here is the ID decal on the driver's side door jamb. The lower left shows a color code of CM for Bright Tangerine.

This is a Laser Red 1996 Mustang Cobra Saleen S-281 Speedster. It's a Saleen conversion on a Cobra instead of a regular Mustang. Only eleven Cobras were converted to Saleens in 1996 - seven of them where convertibles.
The Speedster options include the fiberglass tonneau cover and sport bar.
"Speedster" is even written right on the fiberglass tonneau cover.
