The 2018 Mustang GT features a 460hp 50L V8 (25 horsepower over the previous year), dual exhaust with quad tips, LED fog lamps, rear decklid spoiler, unique high-gloss black painted front grille, unique requre valance, 3.55 limited-slip rear differential, engine cooler, reverse sensing system, SYNC, and silver arrow aluminum dash trim. Optional packages include the GT Premium, Premium Plus, Black Accent, Carbon Sport Interior, Ford Safe and Smart, GT Performance and GT Performance Level II.

New to 2018 is the GT Performance level 2 package which can be added to the optional baselevel GT Performance package carried over from the previous year. The first level adds performance and handling features while the Level 2 package ads MagneRide Damping System, track-inspired springs and sway bar, upgraded wheels, and performance tires.

The 2018 Shelby GT350 follows the previous year and features the 526hp 5.2L V8 with flat plane crank, Tremec TR-3160 6-speed manual transmission, engine/transmission/differential coolers, vented aluminum fenders and hood, aluminum strut-tower, unique 19" ebony black painted aluminum wheels, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, MagneRide damping system, stripes, logos and badges. A R Package includes upgrades wheels, tires, tuning, front air splitter, red accent stitching, red exterior stripe accents, carbon-fiber rear wing, wheel locks, and deletes air conditioning, audio system, floor mats, gauge pack, rear seat, rear camera, SYNC, and tire kit. A GT350R Electronic package adds most of that back.

The 2018 Mustang Cobra commemorates 50 years since the first Cobra Jet in 1968. 68 specially prepared, non-street legal, track-only, Mustang Cobra Jet race cars are available in either Oxford White or Race Red. Under the hood is a special version of the 5.2L Coyote V8 with a 3.0L Whipple supercharger, 9-inch solid rear axle, two-way coil-over shocks with adjustable ride height, low-drag Strange Engineering brake system, four-link rear suspension with antiroll and pan bars, NHRA-certified safety roll cage, FIA-certified seats, anniversary-badged racing wheels, and optional 50th anniversary graphics and badges.

The 2018 Saleen Mustang continues the performance tradition of the S302 normally aspirated White Label, supercharged Yellow Label, and the ultimate supercharged Black Label model. The White Label has a performance improvement to 475 horsepower, while the Yellow and Black label adds a supercharger with 740 horsepower. The Black Label also adds custom front and rear fascias as well as a variety of special Saleen exterior colors.

The 2018 Roush Mustang comes in three main models: the 310hp Stage 1, 460hp Stage 2, and the all powerful 710hp Stage 3. Handling is improved throughout and tons of exterior and interior Roush upgrades including wheels, body panels and trim, interior seating and trim, sound systems, and graphic packages. There is also a Roush 729 wide-body which features a 729hp Roush supercharger.

The 2018 Steeda Mustang comes in several forms of owner, dealer, or Steeda modified packages. The Steeda Q850 for 2018 is a +775 horsepower example with both appearance and performance upgrades. Steeda has been offering performance parts and upgraded vehicles for Mustang since 1988.
