custom V-code 4.6L V8 engine Nice view of a customized 4.6L Cobra V8 engine, this one has Kook long tube headers. There is also a Steeda short throw shifter connected to it.
Rio Red 1997 Cobra Coupe Rio Red 1997 Mustang SVT Cobra coupe with a black interior and aftermarket BBS wheels. Rio Red was one of two reds offered on the 1997 Mustang. The other was Laser Red. The common miss-spelling for Laser is "Lazer".

Autumn Orange 1997 Mustang GT Coupe Autumn Orange 1997 Mustang GT coupe with a black cloth interior and chrome wheels. This color is very close to the late model Saleen special order orange called Beryllium. Compare to this 2007 Saleen in Beryllium orange paint. Autumn Orange was only available on the Mustang in 1997 and 1998.

Moonlight Blue 1997 Saleen S-351 This is a Moonlight Blue 1997 Mustang Saleen S-351 R coupe. Not sure what the R stands for. Besides the big supercharged 351ci 5.8L V8, this car has; the full Saleen body kit with the Saleen SR rear wing, projector head lights, and clear diamond side marker lights. It has a carbon fiber hood.

Other items include a Star clutch, adjustable clutch quadrant, an aluminum drive shaft, Saleen rear control arms, Alcon 13-inch slotted brake rotors with 4 piston calipers, Saleen Racecraft Springs and sway bars, and Racecraft nitrogen filled shocks and struts.

It has been fully balanced with , J E forged pistons, scat forged I-beam rods, forged crank, ARP bolts & studs, TFS twisted wedge heads, 5 angle valve job, Saleen intake, Ford Motorsport 1.6 roller rockers, polished Accufab 70mm throttle body, 80mm Pro m mass air meter, 50lb injectors, Aeromotive 1000hp fuel pump & lines with rail & regulator, Crane HI-6 ignition system, an oil cooler, SCT Advantage super chip, a large aluminum radiator, and that ultimate polished Vortech S-Trim supercharger with power pipe.
1997 Saleen S-351 Interior The interior in this S-351 is black. It has Recaro black leather seats, a Pro 5.0 Power Tower shifter, a carbon fiber knob, and the twin gauge pod on the dash has the Saleen boost & fuel gauges.
Deep Violet 1997 Mustang GT Coupe A beautiful Deep Violet 1997 Mustang GT coupe with the 4.6 liter V8 engine. With 2,462 Deep Violet Mustangs ordered, this is not the rarest 1997 color. That honor goes to Autumn Orange with 1,519 Mustangs, and Aztec Gold with 1,135 Mustangs.
Extreme Rainbow 1997 Saleen Convertible This 1997 Mustang Saleen S-281 Cobra convertible speedster is painted Extreme Rainbow. Extreme Rainbow is a $11,000+ special color that Saleen offered many years. The paint process was 4-coats dark blue, color sanded, 3-coats of Extreme Rainbow, color sanded again, followed by an additional 2-coats of Extreme Rainbow, and then 4-coats of urethane clear. The finish then received a final wet-sand by hand and polishing, resulting in the exceptional show quality finish achieved. This is Saleen factory #173 vehicle for 1997. Besides the unusual paint, this one was also ordered with a Supercharger!
