Blue 1998 Mustang Cobra This is a Bright Atlantic Blue 1998 Mustang SVT Cobra coupe. You could get two blues in 1998. One was regular Atlantic Blue and this lighter Bright Atlantic Blue.
Left Rear View Bright Atlantic Blue 1998 Mustang SVT Cobra coupe, left rear view. Can you tell the engine is running? I bet it sounds great with its set of Vortex Cherry Bomb mufflers. Other exhaust modifications include Bassani H-Pipe with single cats per bank and MIL eliminators.
Rear View Another rear end view. See the SVT emblem on the trunk? That stands for Special Vehicle Team. It's the Ford team that puts together special cars like this Cobra. Only certain Ford dealerships are allowed to sell SVT cars.
305hp Engine This is the special Cobra 4.6L V8 engine. To help it breathe, the owner installed a free flowing Dense-Charger intake with a fender mounted K&N air filter.
Interior Inside we have black leather seats and a manual transmission.
Custom Gauges This Cobra has a couple of extra gauges mounted into a custom dash bezel around the instrument cluster. The two new gauges are an oil pressure gauge and a clock from Auto-Meter.

Laser Red 1998 Mustang GT Laser Red 1998 Mustang GT coupe owned by Tim from Montrovia, California. This was our featured, Attitude Of The Week for the week starting March 13, 2011. Tim has this story to share, "My Sister recently passed away from a long illness and she left me her 1998 Mustang GT. The car has never been driven in the rain and has always been garaged. It has the upgraded wheels for that year and has a pair of Flowmaster 50 series mufflers. Here's the best part of the car - it's 13 years old and only 16,450 miles on it. This car is really fun to drive and I think I'm going to put a Saleen spoiler on it. My last Mustang was a 1969 Hunter Green 428 CJ 4-speed, I was 18 then, now I'm 57. I hope you like the car as much as I do. Yes, we do Tim. It's a really nice looking ride! Here is a vintage photo of Tim and his 1969 Mustang.

Bright Atlantic Blue 1998 Cobra Bright Atlantic Blue 1998 SVT Cobra coupe owned by Mike Barrett from Denver, Colorado. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 6, 2011. Mike tells us more, "In 2005 I needed to buy a car since I had lost my company car. I found this 1998 SVT Cobra sitting in a family's garage. They never drove since they started their family. It only had 1200 miles on it at the time. I drove it and I was hooked on Mustangs once more! I bought the car the next day and as they say, the rest is history. I have added an X pipe w/ Magnaflows, .373 gears, JLT CAI, sub-frame connectors, SCT Tune, Chrome sill plates, 2004 Chrome Cobra 17" wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber, 21/2" pulleys. This is vehicle #3409 of a build of 5174 Cobras in 1998. There was only 563 Cobra coupes built in 1998 with the Bright Atlantic Blue paint. That was the lowest production number of all colors for 1998 Cobras. It now has 52785 ,miles on it."
