Door Data Tag The door tag reads 65A for the hardtop body style, S for Dusk Rose exterior paint, 2A black interior, 05U assembled on the 5th of July 1967, 61 ordered in the Dallas area, 0 2.79:1 rear axle ratio, and 1 3 speed manual transmission. The pink paint over this data tag indicates at least one repainting.

Acapulco Blue 1967 Mustang GT Acapulco Blue 1967 Mustang GT fastback owned by Richard Rose from San Jose, California. It's our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting August 11, 2013. It has it's original 390ci V8 engine and a manual transmission. Richard adds, "Purchased new in 1967, special ordered with Competition Handling Package (1 of 141 fastbacks of 195 built). Dealer installed items; gauges, Shelby steering wheel, 427 heads, 427 dual point distributor, adjustable rocker arms, 3.89 gears, and rear mounted antenna. "

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting December 29, 2013. Shaun shares, "Shelby #258 was built at Ford's San Jose California plant on December 9, 1966. It was sold by JD Ball Ford in Miami on January 18, 1967. The car remained in Miami until 1986. I have owned it since 1997. The Shelby was an original painted Lime Gold Metallic and equipped with a 428 Police Interceptor. The car was painted red and the 427 installed in 1985. The car originally came with; heater and defroster, Cobra OHV 428ci V8, 4-speed manual shift, tachometer, trip odometer, extra cooling package, competition handling package, integral roll bar, oil pressure gauge, ammeter, deluxe interior, Deluxe steering wheel, remote control side mirror, power steering, power disc brakes, shoulder harness, fold-down rear seat and Deluxe wheels (15x7 Kelsey-Hayes Mag Star wheels), radio delete, no Le Mans stripes, inboard headlights, and functional lower rear brake scoops.

Blue 1967 Mustang GT Convertible Check out this awesome blue 1967 Mustang GT convertible. The owner tells us, "If you are looking for an all-stock and original car, this is not it. Or if you are looking for an over-the-top street car that gets tons of attention, Here it is. They body of this Mustang is very solid through-out, floors, trunk, doors and the frame. The dark metallic blue paint with withe stripes is beautiful and laser straight - color sanded and polished to a mirror finish. The painted-to-match original hood comes with the car. As you can see, trunk lid and spoilers have been added as a few other goodies have been added. The black interior is very clean as well. Door panels, carpet, dash, and center console are all in very nice condition. After-market gauges have been added to monitor this Bad Boy. This car as been gone through from one end to the other. We do not have receipts for the build, but any car enthusiast can see the time and big $$$ that have been invested. So if you don't want to spend a considerable amount of time and $$$ building a classic Mustang, this car is ready for the show or shine this summer. We have classic car financing available.
