I bought it in 2009. It was in decent shape but needed a face lift. An Arizona car with factory air."

The door data tag for this car reads 63A P 79 24U 21 6 6 where 63A is for the fastback body style, P Prairie Bronze exterior paint, 79 ordered in the ??? area, 24U assembled on the 24th of July, 21 gold interior trim, 6 2.80 ratio rear axle AND 6 dual range automatic C-4 transmission.

Rangoon Red 1965 Mustang GT fastback owned by Joe Amabile from Woodbury, Connecticut. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting November 10, 2013. This Mustang has its original 289ci V8 and a manual transmission. Joe adds, "I bought this fastback 15 years ago and it was a rusted out mess. My wife and I just finished a total restoration. We did all the work on the car with exception of the engine rebuild. It is a 289 fastback with 4-speed top loader. We have attended six car shows so far and have won four."
This Mustang has the GT emblem on the front fender, GT style rocker stripes, and GT style fog lights.
Around the rear are the chrome exhaust tips which exit through the valance panel.
